The Chimes
A man has uncharitable thoughts about his fellow man and, on the eve of Christmas, finds himself visited by spirits to show what his evil thoughts have wrought upon those closest to him. Man realizes the error of his way and repents. Not to call Dickens a one-trick Christmas pony or anything but I hope the Cricket on the Hearth has a new plot direction from the other Christmas stories I've read thus far.
